Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Objetive of the position

Introduce and implement the continuous improvement process within the site (e.g. Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, DRÄXLMAIER Ideas, 5S program, etc.)

 

 

Principal activities

  1. Lead selected green belt projects in cooperation with relevant departments (e.g. Production, Logistics, Quality, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
  2. Support the implementation of black belt projects under the black belt lead
  3. Process employee suggestions received in D-Ideas according to standards
  4. Identify improvement potential during the entire product lifecycle as well as implement relevant improvement measures
  5. Provide training and orientation to employees in the continuous improvement process, 5S program, DRÄXLMAIER ideas and Kaizen event.
  6. Coordinate 5S program with relevant departments (e.g. Production, Logistics, Quality, etc.)
  7. Introduce standards in the plant and review compliance with them, in cooperation with management
  8. Plan and conduct workshops for various plant functions (e.g. Production, Logistics, etc.) to identify improvement potential (e.g. with regard to minutes, space and material, parameterization of production equipment, reduction of error rates, etc.)
  9. Assure implementation of agreed actions, in cooperation with the area involved
     
     
    Requirements:
  • Professional career:
  • Education: Bachelor´s Degree
  • Language: English Intermediate
     
  • Relevant experience:
  • Track record of managing multi-disciplined teams
  • Demostrated leadership &facilitation skills
     
  • Technical knowledge:
  • Certified Six Sigma DMAIC Green Belt, presentation skills,
  • MS office skills, Minitab, Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
