Supply Chain Specialist

For our development projects we are looking for team members who face the challenges of the international automotive markets with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Tasks:

• Represent the Prototype Shop LV/DS in front of customer and suppliers in regard of LV/DS prototypes materials;
• Review of missing materials following stock checks as well as those resulting from the commissioning operation;
• Plan and order standard materials / specific materials (from Draexlmaier or external);
• Establishing delivery deadlines and quantities together with the supply department in Romania/Germany;
• Follow-up of the respect of the announced delivery deadlines;
• Checking the respect of the delivery deadlines of the finished products to the customer according to the availability of materials;
• Collaboration with engineering departments order to find an alternative for missing materials;
• Announcing/scheduling in the project in case delivery deadlines to the customer cannot be met
• Cooperate in developing suppliers;
• Reporting to the project team considering the delivery times of the parts in relation to the announced delivery times for the cabling;
• Acting as a point of contact between suppliers, production companies and customers;
• Monitoring stock levels, taking into account production supply and the level of warehouse and container stocks or retrieving stock levels and production quantities to plan transports;
• Recognizing bottlenecks and triggering special actions (e.g. special, express transports, etc.);
• Business trips between Draexlmaier locations in Romania and abroad.

Profile:

• Bachelor Degree in a technical or economic field;
• Very good communication skills in English; German language is an asset;
• +3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain;
• Good MS Office skills;
• Willingness to travel;
• Experience of working in a multicultural environment;
• Good organization and problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented mindset;
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions and adapt to frequent changes;
• Very good communication skills, team–player and self-motivated.
