Objetive of the position

 

  •  Assist in planning and implementing production processes for specific technologies in a plant, for existing and new products, in cooperation with the areas of process development, process planning, equipment engineering, logistics, production and quality, with the goal of efficiently industrializing the product.

  •  Series support for existing production processes,  with the goal of achieving trouble-free and efficient production.

  •  In charge of Application Engineering, with the goal of efficiently all series production lines thru using the Lean Manufacturing and develop the technical training of existing technicians.

  • Develop strategies to achieve production goals efficiently, ensuring a high level of quality and using lean manufacturing tools.

    Principal activities

  1.  Support the strategic planning of the department/unit by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short or medium-range time frame.

  2.  Plan and administer the budget in his area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with it

  3.  Cooperate in personal planning within his area of responsibility in cooperation with the supervisor; employ qualified personnel

  4.  Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him, make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor

  5.  Break down and prioritize group goals for associates

  6.  Implement guidelines, process and systems in his area of responsibility

 

Requirements:

  • Professional career: Bachelor´s Degree

  • Education: Industrial / Mechanical Engineer or Similar

  • Language: Advanced English

  • Relevant experience: Organizational Skills, Project Management, Personal Management, Manufacturing process of automotive interiors     

  • Industry: Automotive

  • Technical knowledge: Statical Process Control, Lean manufacturing, Problem Solving tools, GD&T   Core Tools, Product Safety, Risk Analysis (Quality, Safety, Environment, Logistics), IATF 16949:2016, SO 14001-2015 / OSHAS 18001, PLM
