Objective of Job:

  • Improvement of project results due to the guidance of development projects for the consistent implementation of the defined methods for maturity assessment and risk management within the DRÄXLMAIER Group
  • Conceptualization of the defined project management methods and adaptation of them to the specific project condition
  • Preparation and Development of DRX-specific methods and tools for the efficient determination of the maturity (Reifegrad) and technical risks in projects
  • Determining the project status by maturity measurement and implementation of risk management in vehicle development projects (focus AMERICAS.


Principle Activities:

  • Act as internal and external contact persons within her own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups (focus AMERICAS)
  • Create internal publications (e.g. documentation, etc.) and present as required (internally)
  • Recognize general needs for continuing education in her own field within the company; Plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics, both domestically and in other countries (focus AMERICAS)
  • Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within her own area of expertise
  • Observe/identify trends in her area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for action
  • Conduct mainly conceptual activities within her area of expertise
  • Main emphasis at AM-PO (Maturity Assessment and Risk Management)
  • Project guidance for project management - topics that are used throughout the whole DRÄXLMAIER Group (e.g. timing master, OLAP - Maturity reporting, Run @ Rate)
  • Project guidance in the design of guidelines for project management process of the DRÄXLMAIER Group in coordination with process owners and supervisors
  • Analysis of the project management processes, identification of improvement potentials and implementation of identified optimization measures in order to increase the process efficiency
  • Identification, selection, development and training of processes, methods and tools
  • Project guidance during the selection of IT Tools
  • Project guidance during the definition and implementation of special report requirements
  • Design, planning and moderation of trainings (PM@DRX Methods, Tools etc….overview, Maturity tool (RGT) intensive and support PM Basic)  and workshops on her own authority
  • Support/ Counsel of responsible persons of the respective business units during project planning and steering
  • Instruction of project teams during the determination of monthly maturity assessment and reporting
  • Methodological responsibility for the implementation of the maturity management in vehicle development projects
  • Carrying out Workshops with LessonsLearned from previous projects / Maturity and Risk management workshops in accordance with the main project management
  • Audit support and operative plant support on the topic Maturity Management and Run@Rate
  • Creation of project status reports and presentations
  • Active participation in all company activities and programms (Quality, Ideas for improvement, Training, Human Resources, Security, Hygiene and Environment, etc) which apply acording to the proper activities of the position.

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree

  • Professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired through a bachelors degree OR professional certification with a few (three to five) years of experience in a specialized field (highly proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field built on a thorough understanding of theoretical concepts and principles and their context).
  • Design/set up methods of resolution for differing situations, including detailed analysis of the situation/cause.
  • Clearly defined, but not comprehensive guidelines; general monitoring of success (after activity is completed)


Work Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of Industrial Production or Process Engineering.
