Provides Administrative and Technical support to Logistics in the Americas with the goal to create / maintain a

professional and recognized area


Principle Activities:


  • The tasks are divided into three categories: Administrative, Technical and Special Projects.
  •  Administrative Tasks:
  • Administrative support for the Director of Logistics and the Senior Manager of SCM / Logistics USA
  • Administrative support for all department managers in the US and Mexico when required
  • Support and drive general topics to create a positive working environment in Logistics
  • Interface to HR in regards of on-boarding, off-boarding, organizational changes, training Organization etc.
  • Maintain and manage training plans, seating arrangements (also for travelers), folder structure and Intranet
  • Maintains and Updates the Logistics databases: personnel database, job description, qualification matrixes and orientation plans.
  • Coordination of improvement ideas of the department.
  • Supports the BDA'S for Logistics departments through workflow and e-POS.
  • Maintains and Updates the fixed assets list.
  • Interface to IT on general topics (tracking equipment, managing cell phone costs, general topics....)
  • The administrative activities mentioned are indicative but not limitative of the function.
  • Technical Tasks:
  • SCM / Logistics, assuring Standards, avoid duplication in coordination with Quality Systems / DMS area
  • Master User for Logistical Workflows like Scrap Request and PFA.
  • Prepares monthly reports of Performance (KPI'S) and analysis of activities required by Management.
  • Prepares and coordinates resources for training, orientation plans as well as weekly and monthly meetings. Design internal training programs and perform selected training session.


Job Requirements:

Associates Degree or equivalent work experience

1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience

Strong Technical Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
