Objective of job:

  • Support plant logistics and provide technical support to define and implement warehouse operations with a focus on change management and inventory accuracy.


Principal activities

  • Support the monitoring process for inventory levels (rolling inventory process), taking into consideration production supply and the level of the warehouse and container inventory.
  • Handle launches and phase-outs.
  • Handle excess inventory.
  • Responsible for warehouse conditions and audits per DRX standards.
  • Responsible for executing and documenting corrections for cycle counts in cooperation with area team leader.  All corrections must be analyzed and documented.
  • Assist planners in various inventory issues.
  • Generate empty bin and bin consolidation reports.
  • Research empty media numbers from all production areas by looking up media number in applicable HOST screens.  Research the data using QuickProt software.
  • Responsible for technical logistical issues (first line of defense)
  • Responsible for maintaining work instructions and providing proper training pertaining to HOST and all logistical functions. (PIT Licensing)
  • Responsible for entering MRB (scrap) as well as processing all internal scrap requests.
  • Responsible for PSM inventory as it relates to operations.
  • Processing internal material inventory returns (from production to warehouse).
  • Working knowledge of Receiving, High-Bay, and Shipping processes.
  • Leads/represents plant in all change management activities and assures accurate implementation in all operational areas.
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years logistics/inventory experience within a manufacturing enviornment.
