Objective of job

The holder of this position is part of the team, which develops, optimizes and standardizes process and logistics methods in the North America Region based on the best practices and economic aspects according to leadership, resource management, teamwork and effective communication skills


Principal activities

  • Supports the (re)design, development, implementation and management of plants logistic organization,  logistic systems, new procedures, job standardization and training methods for all plant logistic departments in North America Region.
  • Analyzes technology and logistic network trends and implements changes in plant logistic departments per management request.
  • Investigates potential risk and other matters of significance, and provides and implements solutions for plant logistic departments.
  • Supports the root cause analysis and problem resolution for all logistics operations in North America region.
  • Works in conjunction with all departments to handle complaints and ensure support plans are followed in all plant logistic departments to achieve key performance indicators and economic targets.
  • Supports the implementation and monitors the methods for inventory control.
  • Supports the annual inventory in the North America Region.
  • Provide support as needed to other DRX locations.
  • Collects and process data for presentations related to key performance metrics.
  • Participate and support in all activities in regards to Development projects, Series and Plant Site Strategy as required by management.
  • Authority to prevent occurrences of nonconformance in product, process and or/systems.  Identify and record any problems, initiate, recommend or provide solutions & control quality.
  • Active participation in all company activities and programs (Quality, Ideas for improvement, Training, Human Resources, Security, Hygiene and Environment, etc) which apply according to the proper activities of the position.


Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

3-5 years experience in warehousing/logistics withing the Automotive Industry
