Objective of job

Responsible for the administration of customer complaints regarding Logistics topics during series with the main objective to effectively eliminate nonconformance to customer requirements and prevent similar occurrences. This includes the customer and its Tier 1 and 2 customers as defined.

 

Principal activities

  • Customer representative with regards to the definition of corrective and preventive actions, in coordination with the respective and plant logistics.
  • Entitled to issue directives to all areas in case of logistical quality or supply related disturbances in the process
  • User for the complaint management QSYS module (RQMS) in coordination with the main Key user QSYS
  • Acts as moderator of the 8D team and guides the team through the problem solving process.
  • Ensures the information is documented in a timely manner in QSYS and the respective customer portal. Opens 8D in QSYS and assigns team; enters 24 hrs response in the customer portal; checks for effectiveness and closes the 8D; uploads the information into the respective customer portal.
  • Monitors and enters supplier complaint into QSYS in coordination with supplier quality
  • Ensures cost transparency in case of supplier caused customer complaints
  • Facilitates regular LOP and FMEA meetings with BMW and internally, including the update and distribution of LOP and FMEA forms
  • Monitors the cost associated with complaint reports, and ensures the charges are correct
  • Monitors and enforces the use of appropriate problem solving methods
  • Continuous Improvement in coordination with the responsible technical departments
  • Manages and prioritizes activities based on organization needs.
  • Clarifies technical questions, concerns, and/or problems with the customer in coordination with different departments within the Draexlmaier organization (e.g. Plant Logistics, Systems)
  • Assure compliance with logistics standards (of the company and of the customer) in cooperation with all involved divisions (e.g. Production, physical logistics etc.); implement corrective actions for any deviations.

 

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

2 plus years in Quality or Engineering within a Automotive environment
